So, just before the audition starts, the actor says, “I'm Australian. Do you want to hear an American accent or my Australian way of speaking for this monologue”. Well. I said, “what is most comfortable for you?” To which they replied, “I think the American accent”. Now, as the audition is going on, I realize the actor really doesn't have a great American accent.
